55 days. Heirloom. 'A very early round headed green cabbage with ball shaped heads up to 5 pounds. Short stemmed with few outer leaves, and excellent flavor.' 2020: My seeds were just called 'Golden Acre' but I'm assuming they are this one because they were touted as "earliest". Started in the gh. First go around was no germ. 2nd time I ended up with 4 nice starts. Planted out sometime in mid-late may. They didn't get much weeding and didn't get much size to them as a result. They were also buggy. We didn't harvest much. |

60 days. Open pollinated. 2020: 4 plants from '19 seed, started inside. Cabbage was neglected this year and so was small and buggy. We didn't harvest much. 2019: Tried to start in the GH. I only ended up with 1 seedling, but did have decent germination. The one looks real healthy and is right there with the store bought starts. I think I should maybe just direct seed into the garden next year and see how that goes. |

85 days. Heirloom. 2016: Direct seeded, these came up and they were doing well. It's a fairly long-season crop. Before we could harvest any of them, they were so aphid infested that I yarded them out. Probably won't try them again. 2011: They didn't come up at all. |

We usually throw them in salsa or sometimes stuff them for rellenos. 2023: 3 plants from seed. Got planted out really late, but look healthy enough. SE end. 2022: 1 plant from start. Planted out from GH June 6, northwest end. We got some peppers off this plant. They got thrown in the salsa. 2021: 2 plants from seed. Our peppers all did great this year! 2018: These did well |

70-90 days. OP. SHU: 30,000-75,000 Medium to hot. They vary. A tasty, hot pepper. Nicely shaped, smallish, blocky red peppers with fairly thick walls. Slightly sweet undertaste. 2021: From a purchased start. Our first taste of this on August 25th. Planted out sometime in late May. Seems fairly prolific - some fruit rotted on the vine because we didn't pick it. Nice, smallish, shiny bright red peppers with a tasty little kick to them. These are heirloom, so I might try to save some seed. I have found seeds online for sale. We put some in the salsa and some in a chile relleno casserole. We're really liking these! |

None of the bell peppers did anything to write home about, but this one was probably the least productive. Tiny, shriveled up, thin walled things weren't worth picking. I'm done with bell peppers. I can buy better ones at the store. |

They were right next to the tomatoes though, so were kind of shaded by that. 2018: Bought starts. These were great in a year when the bell peppers were meh. The biggest, the most, the thickest walls. Get them again. |

65-68 days. Hybrid. SHU: 7,000 These are pretty big - up to 4" long and a little hotter than some jalapenos. We like them. 2021: 2 plants from seed. All of our peppers are doing well this year and we have tons of jalapenos. I think these did a little better than the Jalafuegos - more prolific and larger peppers. Could have just been the location - they were at opposite ends of the garden. 2018: bought starts. I have to remember to get seeds for these - I like them better than the regular jalapeños. They are much larger and produce really well for us. They taste good when green or red, and are a good size for poppers. |

85 days. Hybrid. SHU: 700-800 A long, slim green to brown pepper. I guess you can dry it and grind it up to make mole sauce. I thought it might be a hot pepper when I bought it. We don't like mole sauce so... 2021: A couple plants from starts. We tasted it at the green, starting to turn to brown stage, and didn't care for it much. Thin walled and bland. Later, at the end of harvest, they had more heat and more flavor. I didn't particularly care for them, but Greg said he'd snack on them. |

We grow one or the other most years and they're usually pretty prolific. Good in salsa and for just munching on. 2023: 4 plants from seed. NE end. |

Planted out from GH June 6, northwest end. We had tons of these this year. 2020: 6 plants from seed. We got a lot of peppers off these. 2019: 3 plants from seed. Did well. 2018: A couple plants from seed. It wasn't a great pepper year for us, but these did well. |

65 days. OP 2018: Purchased a start. Most of my bells didn't do very well this year for some reason. This one produced a number of smallish purple peppers . They were thin-walled and somewhat contorted. Maybe the smoke all summer made it not sunny enough? These should have ripened to red or orange. |

60 days. Hybrid. SHU: 2500-6K An 8" hot wax pepper, a little hotter than some. 2021: Bought a start and it was the only wax pepper we planted this year. Greg liked this one a lot - said it was a tad hotter and had nice flavor. We got a lot of them off this plant and they were ready to pick early. |
