Mike - It's not virused, but due to environmental factors like botrytis that may have been caused by overwatering, possibly coupled with some damage from frost or wind. I think you may just have to give it some TLC to get it through the next few weeks. Infrequent watering with liquid fertilizer may help the bulb, even if the leaves may be past recovery.
