I wish we had fewer categories...daylilies, lilies, iris, and dahlias all fall into the bulb/tuber category...for some of us dahlias could be an annual...orchids could be tropical, trees could be foliage, hibiscus could be tropical. That makes it confusing for some as to where their photo fits best. I had quite a few dahlia photos I wanted to enter and didn't want to split them into two categories
I would love one year to see just a gardening photo contest, maybe 10 entries per person of their choosing. The top five votes get entered into best of show.
