Hi autif00 , welcome to the site Welcome!

I will try to remember to measure the pots tomorrow, but I think they are in the 18 inch range. I plant 2-3 coleus starts as well as 2-3 vine starts in each pot.

If you collect the potatoes in fall and cut them apart in spring (just as you would for seed potatoes) you will have more than you need.

I recently began putting my potatoes in large black pots and putting them out in full sun in the Daylily seedling bed in spring. As they sprout new vines, I pull the vine off the potato and replant it into my containers with coleus.

Also, the vines respond well to having liquid fertilizer like Miracle Grow or a Milorganite type fertilizer plus plenty of sun.

I have also heard that the vines are easy to winter over in a sunny window. Just make cuttings before frost hits and make sure to keep the water clean until they sprout.

Please let me know if I can help with any other questions. Smiling

Regina
