"2019 SDB introduction, sib to an early SDB post. The entire cross turned out pretty nice with two making the cut and passing on to introduction. Might have a little soft spot for lined iris, still working on them here and there since George's introduction Circus Circus back in 1997. Nice to see the lines on SDBs too."

Thanks, Robin! The avatar is a picture of one of our baby chickens - she isn't named yet, but she is so cute. That picture of her is great. It's my favourite of all the chicken related ones.

I just noticed a bud on Autumn Circus today while I was cleaning up the leaves.

It was one that had been chomped by the deer the other day...so half a bud!

Ooooh. That's lovely. I eventually want to get a lot of smaller irises (yes, Bonnie and Liz have stolen my heart for the littles.... ) and it'd be nice to have a little surprise blooming amidst the giants.
