But I read it wasn't true, that CBS made a mistake reporting it.

I do not know if any of these are viable seed strains or come true from parent seed, but I sure would like to try. I have had THE worst luck on every purchase I have made for perennial euphorbia .

I hear you about the perennial Euphorbia Smiling The seeds I bought seeds for Euphorbia longifolia 'Amjilassa' grew into some nice cabbages a few years ago Rolling on the floor laughing (There were three E. longifolia plants when all was said and done, though.)

@MrsBinWY Thanks for sharing your experience. I would have been puzzled by cabbage like growth also. Blinking Or got excited thinking I got one of those endangered cabbage plants from Kauai Big Grin I have just ordered live plants from several different vendors and the were either nasty half dead, met by the weed eater, postal service lost, or several other random things. I am starting to think it is a sign Rolling on the floor laughing After trying so hard to get live plants I am going to try the seed route. If anyone could be so kind and list any they have I would be very grateful I tip my hat to you.

Audrey,
Have you checked your local nurseries and Lowe's recently for the Euphorbias?
The biggest variety of them seems to be available, here, in early spring and fall. I saw your thread about your mail order plant. Wow, that was a nasty plant! Thumbs down

Esperanza-
I never heard of the Hawaiian plant (just looked it up). Cool.
However I have ordered some seeds of:
Walking Stick Cabbage (Brassica oleracea palmifolia) which is native to the Channel Islands in the English Channel. This is an entirely different genus. But in it's native habitat it can get 20 feet tall, and also kind of looks like a palm tree just like the one you want.
The packet I ordered only has 10 seeds, but I plan to list a packet of 5 here (5 should be enough for me!). I don't know if it would tolerate the Texas heat, but it might be fun to find out!

Danita, I never really thought about looking at our local lowes and other big box stores. We never have anything fun around here. It is like being really hungry and you have to eat gas station food. That being said, we do have some interesting locally owned places with in a hours drive. I see a shopping trip in my future Whistling

Mary, I got married in Kauai and we saw that plant while at the end of some trails at a garden. My head wipped around and we read the tag. It just for whatever reason intrigued me. I forgot all about it until the latest Logees mag came in the mail. They have that from seed grown, (brighamia insignis)! I told hubby hint hint and showed him the picture. I was hoping to have some adenium and plumeria seeds to offer this year but its not looking like that will happen. I will be watching your seeds for offer Thumbs up

I love Logees...
I will offer some purchased Adenium seeds, they just arrived in the mail today. I have no idea what color or anything, but it should be fun to find out. I have an Adenium from Logees, their "Red" strain, which is seed grown, but it does not seem fertile, I tried pollinating it myself, no luck at all.

I have gone nuts on growing adeniums from seed this year. I purchase my seeds from adenium KO on ebay. He has a very good reputation and some really interesting seeds. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.htm...

I have the double black Asia and golden carrot from Logees. I love the double black Asia but so far the golden carrots blooms have been funky looking. I am hoping it will be better next year.

I got rained out. Nate's rain made a fall wildflower adventure uncomfortable and I could feel my chest tightening up again so I decided to come home. Sighing!

So, I'm excited for Duane's game, too!
