Stairway To Heaven is a faithful bloomer here even with an invasion of weeds.It is not one I am wowed by, but it is a nice iris that I have had for many years.

I'm looking forward to planting these two new ones out and seeing them in my bed out front. I may put a few of the blue ones out in my side garden as well.

I definitely don't need any more irises, but I did go ahead and order from Iris4U. I got three new intros from him. Farewell Tour, River Runs Through, and I love Popcorn. If this is is truly their last year, then I want a few.

I plan on keeping my order numbers down to under 30 ,and that is with bonus iris that are included.All or almost all will be new 24 introductions.
The last 2 years I ordered over 100 each year.I need things to be more manageable this year .Digging up sod for that many is becoming too much of a chore, and space is at a premium without starting to cull.
Did I mention upkeep.Ugh!!!!

Unless ,there is a Ghio new introduction available,I am pretty sure I am through ordering.At this point I ordered 21 new 24' introductions.With bonus iris, that will put me at 30 or a little over.That's enough to make a new bed for,and plenty of $$$$!
However I have learned,With an iris addiction never say done--NO MORE

Oh I love their sale. Several of the ones I got last year are blooming or in bud. I was so happy Thomas threw new intermediates and dwarfs into the sale. I just love Zaa Zaa Zing (below) and Riddler (pics to come).

Today I discovered my one and only dwarf bearded iris,and only one other than a TB blooming.The first bloom of the season.
I see quite a few bloom stalks developing.Exciting!

Riveting is cute, I see you have those violets invading your bed. Boy I did battle with them for a few years in one of my beds and it seems they are gone from there now. They sure are hard to get rid of.
