@janinilulu .

My daughter bought a new house and these grasses are growing here. They are probably a common variety but I don't know the name of some of the top of my head. If you are interested in these I can collect for you...

There are so many plans out there that a dangerous that we don't even know about or I don't anyway. 😂

I can't think of the name of the plant off hand but I had one growing in my garden. I ripped it out bare handed and got all kinds of juice all over my hands. When I was looking it up for identification I found that it is very very dangerous to humans. I guess I was lucky because I wash my hands immediately after.

There are a few plants or actually shrub type bushes that I break out in hives if it just touches me. My holly bushes are probably the biggest offenders for me.

I'm heading over to wishlist to see what I might be able to add in. I have plenty of seeds to add in providing I get some time to do so.

Castor bean is one such plant, but mainly the seed pods if ingested and coating open. Contains ricin. No antidote for ricin poisoning. Another is the suicide tree.

There are many, many dangerous plants.
Lost down the rabbit hole, send help!!

Yes, please. This looks exactly like what I'm looking for. My husband, Dave, is loving my tall grasses right now after all these years. This fits the bill. If seed is available, I'd appreciate it. Thank you!

@janinilulu when I took the baby for a walk again later, there was also in between those two types of grass another one that is variegated. It's not the short ribbon grass type and it has more green than white than ribbon grass but it is distinctly variegated. I can grab some of that also if you wanted. The one with the big white plumes is probably 10 ft tall as is the one to the left of it. The variegated one is much shorter at maybe 5 to 6 ft. It has blooms on it now but I did not see any seeds. I'll keep my eye on it though.

@janinilulu ,

I'll collect from all the different ones and send them along. 😊

@janinilulu. I believe there's two different types of shorter grasses. They're about thigh high. If you would like, I can collect an envelope of those as well.

Hi @Mollie670! Don't forget to post a list on the wish list thread. There could be extras not listed in the swap that could get added to your package.

Hi y'all. I just joined the swap. Playing catchup with my seeds. It doesn't seem like fall here in FL. I am still learning to keep plants alive at zone 10. Since I can't wintersow here, I am also learning to start seeds the hard way and keep the seedlings alive (the hard part - they fry or drown and hate the tap water)

Came across a link you may like:

Update: I've added the salvias, sea oats and yarrow to my trade list. If you want Daucus Carota let me know and I'll collect some.

Before I collect seeds I'd like to know if anyone is interested in some Northern Sea Oats, Daucus Carota (white), Salvia 'coral nymph' and/or Salvia 'lady in red', pink yarrow?

I love coral nymph, grew it before. I would like to try pink yarrow. It is good to grow yarrow near roses because it is a natural remedy for scratches. Here is a link.

Guys, I've misplaced a couple of things. I removed them, plan to restore them once I figure out where they are. My bad.

It happens! This will be the most items for me, ever! I vow to physically file them away to this dedicated box before logging them into the system. Such a discipline, this seed swapping craze, huh?

DeerXing, that's a thing of beauty. I have a set up with plastic tubs and compartments and labels and a spreadsheet. Unfortunately, I lack discipline. I always put something someplace temporarily and then I forget where.
Nor will I post a photo of mine. It lacks a certain...tidiness. Whistling
