I believe this is Agave attenuata instead of de-meesteriana. Take a look at some of the images here and see what you think.

Foxtail Agave (Agave attenuata)

The long stems are the main giveaway, along with the shape of the leaves. I'm not convinced all the images under de-meesteriana are correctly identified at the moment, for what it's worth. The key feature is an urn-like shape to the core of the rosette, with recurved and channeled leaves.

I will move the image to the other entry but I welcome your opinions and feedback if you disagree (or otherwise). Smiling

here is a photo with a more exposed inflorescense
Thumb of 2022-11-14/skopjecollection/5f71bc
Which doesnt look like the one on attenuata(as you can see from spain).
It has these large leaves on the stalk, which are coarsly aligned, rather than forming a smooth cone.
That, and the size is significantly larger than any attenuata ive ever seen(at least twice). I dont know if that is a factor, but this

was about....40-50cm wide .The large plants here were about 70-80cm

I would like to invite @mcvansoest to offer an opinion here. If that skinny stalk is the inflorescence belonging to the plant in the foreground, it is not Agave attenuata.

I agree with regards to the inflorescence that does not look like a spicate inflorescence at all. The plants in the foreground present as attentuata based on the overall shape and apparent trunk forming nature.

Only thing I can think off that it could be would Agave hybrid 'Blue Flame' which has attenuata in it.
It is what it is!

We can move the image to the genus listing if that works for you, since we can be reasonably sure about that. I'm not feeling real strong about either of the possible IDs at this point.
