One that looked OK but by the time I went to rescue it, all of the roots were rotted. I think the rot has stopped. Like the others, it is suspended above shallow water that touches only the tips of the healthy looking roots.
My most recent rescue, which had no roots. Some are growing now and it feels solid now. It was weightless and completely desiccated when I got it.

I rescued this from a moss ball 2nd, but right away upon purchase. It has grow a LOT of roots & a couple new leaves. It's in a soda bottle cut in half with the top part (lidless) upside-down. This has done a good job of holding the plant above water while allowing the roots to go through the hole into the water. I had to cut the original opening to make it bigger. There are so many roots, they were starting to smush against the side of the original opening.
