Ginny, just gorgeous. And you're North of me! That's it, my new focus is rebloomers. Seriously.
Here's today
Still a few Child Bride baby's to go
Thumb of 2020-09-07/Zoia/03af47
And I finally and for sure figured out that a flower that's been popping up all over my hill this late August is Ming Porcelain. Makes sense as it's been in a few seasons of fire sale Wilds daylilies. My new plant from my July order bloomed and confirmed my hypotheses. I love it when that happens! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

Hmm. Now I'm suspicious. Maybe Child Bride baby is actually Ming Porcelain too! That's what comes of not paying enough attention when you're planting... D'Oh!

Beautiful blooms everyone! Hurray! Great to see blooms in Sept. Mine are mostly done, very hot season here this year, so smaller amount of rebloom as it was hard to keep up with watering. Got my internet back now so I am enjoying all of yours. Here is the only one I have blooming today, a seedling from seeds I planted in January.

Hard to believe it's Sept. already. Everyone's blooms are looking really good Thumbs up
Still extremely dry and with the crazy up & down temps blooms have been wonky. Today I did find 3 that looked pretty good...
Last bloom on one scape of Albion Moonlight.

and 2 Sculpted form seedlings, a pleated & relief and a midrib cristate. Both on rebloom although the relief hadn't been planned for keeping I think I might change my mind and move it tomorrow. It's from Betty Harwood x a relief sdlg. The cristate is an earlier keep, sdlg X Weird Anatomy.

And a question - this lovely seedling has very ridged/wrinkly petals - is this pleated or is this something else?

Beautiful blooms especially like Chang Dynasty back in Aug and Char's sculpted one.
Don't have a lot blooming but have about 7 plants with rebloom scapes coming or FSE on a few I got in July.

Thank Your Lucky Stars FFE It was Aug 30 but seems kind of late to put there.

Went out and took a few photos after I finished up cleaning up one of my beds. Not many blooming this morning, that saves a lot of deadheading time.

The EITPF x HNF sdlg is really nice! Thumbs up I made some crosses with EITPF and Wacky Wed. this summer. Collecting seeds now, the 2022 seedling bed could be interesting.

Sorry, not pleated, I think it may be just from blooming late in the season. Looks like it might have been stuck in the sepals, blooms grow and change a lot the day/night before opening and if the sepal has issues it can carry into the petals. The up & down temps we had last week to this week in VT has blooms doing a lot of wonky stuff.
