I've got all of the most wanted seeds, a lot of the things that sounded interesting, now I'm just wrapping up with a few stragglers. A lot different than the first swap where I wanted ALL THE PRETTIES!

This will be the first time I'm leaving more dibs than I used but when I look at what I have "in stock" I'm embarrassed I got any. *Blush*

For you long term gardeners, is there anything you'd like or enjoy seed wise?
As a newer gardener it's hard to imagine stuff that you seasoned gardeners don't already have. Whistling
*I did manage to get the new 'Mini Belle' Echinacea to grow & share seeds with you.
I just received an order of seeds today so they might be good for trades.
Any ideas or any good ways to entice you my gardening friends? Group hug

I'm on a quest to try every variety of heirloom tomato and pepper, so that's the first thing I look for. Then herbs, then old standbys that I grow every year (dill, basil, cosmos, etc). Then anything that sounds interesting. So basically everything listed lol. But I'm trying to be more intentional in getting just what I think I'll try to grow next year, since I have way more than I really need.

That's awfully nice of you @Ladyreneer ! I think @okieheart recognized the "evolution" that occurs with seed trading. I still want ALL THE PRETTIES, too (and my wish list reflects this). Reality has a funny way of sneaking up and reminding me that I enjoy my summers so much more when I don't have more seedlings than I can handle. I'm full up, too. The gardeners here who share their bounty so generously have enriched my yard -- and my life -- beyond measure. Thank You! I tip my hat to you.

Thank you all for sharing your seeds and your wisdom so generously. I wasn't paying attention and now that it's over I see that it isn't so much trading as receiving for me. I knew I had a tomato/cosmos/poppy problem early on, but between the photos, descriptions and comments the 1's and 2's of this and that kept saying 'choose me, choose me' and I over did it. I'll plan to contribute more next year, though it seems it will be a challenge.

While I signed up for DND's swap, I plan to just watch, read, and learn (will leave if the slot is needed) unless you think this is bad form. I figure I can add some items, and if they get dibbed I will just send them in. I realize it is dangerous though ......

Maxx,
I would participate fully in the next swap. You are new to this and will build a bank of seeds to grow from.
Next year, you can share more, which is really one of the most rewarding parts.

Maxx, I agree 100%, you should fully join the next swap. Thumbs up Don't worry about not having much starting out. I for one love sharing my seeds as much (maybe more) as trying new seeds.

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR SHARING!! This was another awesome swap with so many really nice seeds. Thanks to you all, I'm already excited about starting next years gardens. Thank You! Thank You!

Yes, @maxx2, and anyone else who is new to swapping here. Stay in! If anything, to help some of us hoarders clear out our seed boxes. I think this is my 3rd or 4th year and every year I seem to have a better variety to trade.

Plan is to pack everything up this weekend & get them in the mail Mon. But I see some eager beavers have already sent theirs in.

@maxx2. .I agree with everyone. This is your first year and we are happy to share our seeds with you. Before you know it you'll be enabling a new gardener with your excess!

I hope everyone got some great new seeds to try out next year.

I apologize for being absent most of the swap. I care for my parents who are both in their upper 80s and it's just exhausting. I figure it's better to host and be half in than not to have the swap at all.. 😄

Thank you to everyone who joins in each year. This swap would be nothing without all of you. Group hug

If you could all get your addresses in for me it would be appreciated. I can get all the envelopes addressed and ready to go. I'm hoping for a speedy turnaround!

Those are beautiful July! So tempting. Sadly, our yard has very little space for trees or shrubs. 'Hope you find a good home for them Thumbs up
