Dip, 18", 5", Extra Early, Rebloom, 26 buds, Ev. (PEPPERMINT DELIGHT x Seedling). BRIGHTEN MY DAY always does just that! It is one of the first to bloom here at the farm, and you can see the magnificent PEPPERMINT DELIGHT genetics shine through on this beautiful finished flower. The neon green throat moves out and initially blends into the cherry eye, surrounded by a light pink salmon blended flower. Pods easy, good pollen. Double Fans.

Not happy in my TX garden
from archive.org: trimmerdaylily.com 2016 CACTUS JACK Jack (D. Trimmer) Tetraploid (Gemini Jack x Tetra Making Double Time) 32" M. Ev. Re. 5 ½" This easily pod fertile, very consistent double, resulted from a cross of my conversion of John Kinnebrew's MAKING DOUBLE TIME onto GEMINI JACK. The base color is peach and the bold eye is dark plum with 25 buds per scape. I've hardly ever seen a single bloom on this cultivar, and siblings have been toothy and picoteed, so I expect CACTUS JACK to possess these genetics for those interested in these exciting lines. Much admired, vigorous, and an excellent grower

I think I still have this plant. It hasn't bloomed in a while from neglect. I guess I need to take better care of it.

(Dan Trimmer, 2002). Tetraploid (Rodeo Sweetheart x Sabine Baur) 21" EM Re Ev 4 ½" A dramatic huge cranberry red eye and edge dominate the face of this bloom. On rebloom the eye and edge can be so big sometimes there is only a small sliver of peach petal exposed. Again, on rebloom the edge also can show small cranberry colored teeth and a wire of gold on the petal edge. Well branched with a bud count of 25-30, extremely fertile, and a superb parent CALLING ALL ANGELS imparts a unique and sophisticated look to its offspring.

(Dan Trimmer, 1996). (Cameroons X Tet Peacock Maiden) Evergreen, 7 1/2" flowers, 36" scapes early midseason, rebloomer. This long petaled intense dark purple flower is an excellent melding of its two parents. Size, striking petal midline, and garden statement from T. Peacock Maiden; and saturated color, vigor and bud count from Cameroons. bud count is about 20 in my Long Island garden but up to twice that in Florida. CAMEROON NIGHT reblooms in each location. In my beginners tetraploid long petaled and spider program CAMEROON NIGHT is very important due to its fine pod fertility. The strong scapes are erect and display the large flowers well above most of the daylily garden. This excellent increaser did show some unprotected winter wear and might like some winter mulch.

Carmen Renee 37" MLa 7" Sev Dip Unf Sdlg. 03-713-1 (Lee Reinke x Lavender Handlebars) A blend of cream, yellow and lavender. I've done a lot of breeding with Unf and spiders the last few years. Carmen Renee is one of our first introductions in the Unf cascade category. It is named for Carmen Lanigan who works in our sales yard each summer and loves spiders and unusual form daylilies. It is very sun resistant and pretty at the end of a 95-degree day. We are also introducing a sister seedling, Sexy Sally.

We're just now starting to get some unusual forms and spiders in numbers where we have enough to introduce. Two Unfs from the same cross are the very heat tolerant 'Carmen Renee' and its sister 'Sexy Sally.' I'm waiting, with little patience, to see seedlings out of these two crossed to 'Heavenly Angel Ice' and 'Margo Reed Indeed.' Both introductions are good, fast-increasing plants.

Carmen Renee (Apps, 2006)
height 37 inches (94 cm), bloom 7 inches (18 cm), season MLa, Semi-Evergreen, Diploid, 22 buds, 4 branches, Unusual Form Cascade, Cream yellow lavender blend. (Lee Reinke × Lavender Handlebars)
