I wonder if it is a Claytonia sp. MRTIM@@ may never have noticed this diminutive spring ephemeral bulb among a healthy turf landscape - but it doesn't require observation to thrive.

Spring Beauty (Claytonia virginica)

Lawns are over-rated; spring ephemerals are under-appreciated.
