I planted my tomatoes about 30 days ago. They have grown to about 1 1/2 feet in the cool weather. They will take off next week as we expect temps to be above 70 degrees from then and the rest of the season here in No CA so I will cage them then. They will grow to at least 5 feet tall.

My question is: Do you think I should prune off some of the lower leaves now? They are drooping a bit since they are waited down in the current rain, but I have never pruned this early.

I welcome and thank you in advance for your experience.
