Our yard is "Yard of the Month" in our subdivision for the first time in 30 years. I never worried about it, but now that the sign has finally landed in our yard, I am feeling the pressure to pick up every pine cone as soon as it drops. Every time I go outside to take a walk or check the mailbox, I pick up a leaf or two from from the driveway or pull a few weeds.
