I use the cherry tomatoes to make salsa. I don't peel the cherry tomatoes, but I nip off the stem end and squish out the seeds, then just halve the tomato and throw it in. I found a recipe scientifically approved for hot water canning, so I make up big batches of salsa and can it. Then in the winter I throw the salsa into sauteed vegetables (green beans, mushrooms, squash ... whatever I have on hand) and it is a delicious side dish.
