Good grief, @ScarletTricycle & I thought my 19 degrees was bad here in snowy Michigan. And then 5-9 inches @psudan!
Yikers!

But that crunchy snow does get me in the Christmas spirit! I made an Insta little vid about of our first snow with a Fats Waller song I just love for this weather: https://www.instagram.com/reel...

The bubble wrapped little greenhouse is doing great with the herbs warm enough, even in the teens. The mini heater does the job (and we're solar now, so no big bills).

So, today I dug the last dahlias (about 6 I left for the snowy end) and a pail of cannas. (As long as they are above freezing, those hefty roots pass the winter just fine in a big bag or bucket, nothing added. No fuss.

What gigantic roots on Pooh, 1st time growing this collarette!

Bestest, especially to the snow bunnies. ❄️ Smiling

Chau!
