Well, first of all Anne, I let the bark get completely dry out in the garage. Then I break it into manageable sized pieces and put it in the oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes. I do the same for acorns. But, to be honest, bugs haven't really been a problem.
I'm old school. But some people spend $5.99 for something when they could make it themselves for $18.95. LOL.
