Medical issues, I am amazed to read how the folks here keep working along in the garden even with medical issues. It is inspiring.

That is so sad! I had the same thing last year with Javelina or something uprooting a newly planted iris bed. I fenced so perhaps this year the beds are secure.
The rain is a blessing even if it floods. I get so little rain I welcome a deluge. We had 3 inches about 3 weeks ago. I was doing happy rain dances!
