Yes, of the many varieties and AV plants that I have (over 80 registered varieties, plus two dozen grown from seed... and not counting sports or mutations) Lyon's Magic Charms is one of the two most unpredictable.

In fact, I have taken one bud stem that was producing solely the "half and half" blooms and rooted it to see if I can produce an entire plant that just blooms with half and half flowers. If that works, it likely will be a chimera... reproducible only via offsets / clones... but how cool would that be?

The bud stem has rooted and is just starting to grow tiny leaves, so it will be a while before I get a chance to see any flowers...
Life is what happens while you are making other plans.
