FWIW - the bark has an insufficient volume of fines to use as is for the 5:1:1 mix, but it would be perfect for the gritty mix.

If you are flushing the soil at every watering, you can use 1-2 tsp of FP 9-3-6 every 4th watering during active growth, and 1 tsp every 4th watering during the winter.

You could probably make a productive mix using 5 parts of that bark + 2 parts peat + 1 part perlite + dolomite. If you decide to make the gritty mix and you're using the FP 9-3-6, there is no need for the dolomite, but that will require you to stay sharp insofar as your fertilizer applications.

That lime can make it difficult for the plant to acquire enough magnesium, so for any plants you have in the soil you already made, you might need to include 1/4 tsp Epsom salts/gal whenever you fertilize.
