Amazing, simply AMAZING!!

I am truly awed. I grew Delta F1 yellow summer squash and got few fruit. It was a HUGE, sprawling plant; I direct sowed two into an Earthbox (potting mix with 1o-10-10 in it - as recommended by the Earthbox manufacturer) and staked both @ true leaf stage; I had to remove one when they both started sprawling OUT of the box, into the walkway - but even with just one, it eventually sprawled out of the box in THREE directions!

What variety do you grow? what do you fertilize with? supplements??

I'd like to grow summer squash again - IF they're neatly caged and productive like yours!!!!

I tip my hat to you. The caged plants that you see in the pictures are zucchini plants that i have trained to grow vertically 2 - Burpee Golden Egg and 2- Bonnie Black Beauty Heirloom. I keep my Bonnie Straightneck heirloom yellow squash trimmed back as much as possible. When a flower drops from its stem i cut the stem all the way back to the main stem of the plant as well as all leaves that begin to turn brown or yellow
Every 7 days I feed them Jacks Blossom Booster (10-30-20) 1 scoop mixed into my 2.5 gal watering can that i feed 2 plants with I tip my hat to you.
