@pod Kristi, yes that's the Midnight Snack plant that is still setting fruit despite the hot nights. In fact, it's one I started from the top I lopped off the rescue plant from the Lowe's death rack, trying to make it stay within the bounds of it's cage. Right . . .

Yep, making regular use of the insect repellent here, too. We had a news report of a case of malaria in Sarasota County a week or two ago, so that is really a pretty big concern. Do not want to get bit this year although usually the bites hardly bother me anyway, guess I'm relatively immune to a lot of the dam things now. Not immune to the diseases they're carrying, though. Yikes!

These are my two "go to" insect repellents since I can't stand the smell or feel of anything DEET. Both are aromatic oil based, smell nice, and aren't sticky or greasy. The Herbal Armor is a nice smooth lotion texture, too. They last a couple of hours and that's plenty for me, as I can't stay outside in the heat for that long anyway.
