I have spend hours looking at Lichen, they are truly gorgeous to see in detail. Thought I repost some into this thread.

Unfortunately the neighbor ( at our place in NE Pennsylvania ) has taken to cutting the vegetation on that Lichen-rich slope and they have all disappeared. But for years I had enjoyed looking at the different Lichen, as they appeared on newly turned over soil and rocks.
