Frillylily- have you dug them yet?
What kind and how have they done over summer?
The tall red indica ones, with good water, can grow so huge and thick in one summer; if I keep only a third, even a fourth, of what grew I will have plenty. I don't remember ever having any look bad by spring. Last year I left some in the ground and still gave away loads to neighbors.
I dug adn washed them, then stored in plastic storage crates with dry pine needles as padding, and the infinished, unheated basement - probably stays above 60 even at that. Certainly above 50.
But I also have some dark leafed ones that are much wimpier and might want more caution about storage.
I would not have faith in a tent/greenhouse in zone 6 over winter.
Plant it and they will come.
