Here's both of them in their new homes. Swan and Dragon from Logee's on the left, Chai Lai shipped bare-rooted on the right. So far I'm favoring Logee's, but I'm sure Chai Lai will catch up during the summer.

Chai Lai finally dropped its last leaf today. Can I trim a bit off the 2 tips of it now? Or must I wait until spring to do it? It looks like at one time a 3rd branch was starting to grow but didn't make it. The daytime weather has been quite nice here, mid-70s today in fact, so I'm also tempted to put them outside for a bit during the days only while it's still warm and bring them in at night.
