Its kind lived in the are before the area was colonized by technologically advanced humans. Normally, they would huddle in a sheltered place, deep in the woods that no longer exist. And we put out these tempting easy solutions - only to snatch them away again, on a whim. Nature didn't prepare wildlife for human caprice.
Should a fitted sheet be folded?
Don't know about 'should'; know I have to, so they'll fit in the drawer in the bed and can be taken out one at a time, instead of the the whole lot in a giant wad. It's not a particularly neat fold, and there sure won't be any ironing or creases, but it's sort of square as long as it's small enough to go in there and come out again, I'm satisfied.
Alternatively, I suppose we could try the dish-towel solution.
