I believe those are what people now call Thelocactus setispinus (now - maybe relative), but also known as hamatocactus setispinus or something along those lines. The flowers tend to be some flavor of yellow. Looking good!

I labeled the photos as Thelocactus setispinus. I searched the database for both names and also searched Google. Every photo I found looked right in every respect except for the center of the blooms. All those I could find were distinctly red or red-orange in the center. The bloom here is distinctly green in the center of the bloom. I also checked out some Ferocactus which turned up in Google searches. I may search a bit more in Google, but I'm not hopeful a photo depicting the green center is going to show it's face. Getting the correct nomenclature for plants can be maddening. It's good you made the suggestion because I'd have dismissed it searching on my own based on the difference. Thanks.
