On your plant list, you can manually add a plant entry (rather than using the "Add to list" function from the database page). I've done this for different forms of the same Cymbidium species that aren't taxonomically distinct.

Note: you can actually have multiple copies linked to the same database plant entry this way; otherwise you can have a non-linked entry too (which is what I do for my seedlings).

1. Click on "Add a plant to your list"
2. Put in the name of the plant. If you want to have this entry linked to the database, make sure it's the same as the database entry.
3. The system will try to suggest a database match. You can select it and click next (this will link your plant list entry to the database, otherwise it will keep it unlinked as a custom entry).
4. You should now have two distinct copies of Huernia thuretii in your plant list. If you open the database entry, the events will be combined, but on your plant list you can keep them separate. Photos, though, must either be added to the individual plant list entry via the edit option (so won't show up in the plant database) or added to the plant database entry (in which case they will show up on both plant list entries).

Hopefully that makes sense...
