Mix one tablespoon of baking soda and a half teaspoon of mild dish soap, not detergent, into a gallon of water.
For a quart it would be a tsp. Of baking soda, 1/8th tsp. of mild dish soap in a quart pump, hand held spray bottle. At least that's what I have used to combat powdery mildew on lilacs.
No need to purchase anything.
