Whatsmyplant said: Hi there, it died. I have no idea why.

I got a new one - a Tahitian Gardenia that I put in full sun (6 hours) on my porch. Online instructions stated full sun is okay for Tahitian Gardenia. One of the leaves has browned a few days ago, but it has stopped. I'm hoping this Tahitian Gardenia will be everything I want and more.

When using mail order for purchasing plants - they need time to acclimate to full sun again. Sounds like she's doing ok now for you but if you order any more just give them a lil time to get used to full sun again. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks for your suggestions. I'll look into those fertilizers.

Here's two pics of my Gardenias:

“Little girl, why are you doing this? You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!” After a few moments thought, she bent down, picked up another starfish & hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. Then she looked up at the man and replied, “Well, I made a difference to that one!” Be the change you wish to see in the world. http://www.stillsthatspeak.com...
