Makes a great banner, Laurie. Thumbs up
Joe Pye Weed is a new one for me.

Is that a recent pic? Are the open blooms pink or white?
I like the contrast of dark stems with leaves, too.

This looks like a spectacular plant.....up to 8ft tall!
Like Jupiter's Beard on steroids.
This description sold me on it.

It says hardy for zone 3, but will try it anyway.

Ordered this pack of 50 seeds, mixed colors....white, pink, blue at Amazon.

BTW, while looking for it on Amazon, also came across this novel (to me) method of
planting seeds.......clay/compost seed balls/"bombs".

May be just what I need for some salvias & others that are difficult to germinate, but
will use it to plant the Joe Pye Weed. Thumbs up
