That is an amazing flower. I can see why people wanted to grow them. Good luck with your fish babies!
Angelica Gigas is opening up. This one is a bit of a weed.
BumbleBee on Allium 'Millenium' with Shiso. Later that plant will be full of all kinds of bees, big and small.
The last of the Helenium plants to survive. I bought seed to try instead of these little ones.
Hydrangea 'Unique' didn't get a haircut this year. Has a strong fragrance.
Ironweed. I may regret this.
Dahlia 'Cornel' laying sideways and visiting a potted smokebush.
Dahlia 'Bronze Cornel' first flower just opening, was sent as a substitute for 'David Howard', the reason I placed the order in the first place. Isn't always the way? I'm still waiting for all the other new dahlias to do something.
Dahlia seedling that I have for several years with bronze fennel. Another weedy flower that the pollinators love. I was lazy last year and didn't deadhead. I won't make that mistake again.
Clematis 'Rooguchi' has been shaded out but finally found a way to bloom through the viburnum. I have to dig out and transform that area.
This is not lily Salmon Star. Oh Lowes, you did it to me again. Why do I try?
Ligularia dentata is starting to open.
Heuchera villosa is a little tired but blooming.
Boehmeria plantanifolia competing with a few plants that need to be moved this fall. This is the only Boehmeria that comes back for me. I tried a couple of the other colorful Boehmerias, as a coleus substitute but none of them survive the winter. Anyone have luck with these? The idea is to have leaf color and not have to overwinter indoors.
