Are yours thorny?
I found out the hard way that ours had wicked 2" thorns.
Afterwards i always wore heavy leather gauntlets, keeping a safe distance while trimming
after finding a 1/4" thorn had broken off in my leg (don't have any at my current home).
Had to get a tetanus booster.
