Pro tip:
under the "tools" tab, you'll find a menu option for the seed swap tool. We've adapted it to use for our in-person plant swaps -- nice to have the tool do the record keeping! There's a video by Dave that tells you how the tool works, and in the list of swaps you'll find our plant swap... watch the video, sign up for the swap, and put at least one plant in your trade list so you can participate when pre-swap trading opens (on the 29th I think?).
When you arrive at the swap, you'll find a bunch of areas staked out and labeled with names... super easy to drop off what you've brought for each person and have your plants put into a pile by your name. There will also be a chance to bring along & also get plants that weren't part of the pre-event trading.
Any questions, just ask! This is a great bunch of people. We started doing the pre-event trading so we'd have more time to visit at the swap instead of just running around with plants. You'll see the swap tool doesn't make it any kind of 1 for 1 trading, more of a "plant sharing party," but you do get extra "dibs" when plants you offer are snapped up. That's only really important in the first few days of trading when your "dibs" are limited, but it's useful to note.
