Tammy Sue Whistling , this is a good article about pill bugs/rolly pollies. Did you know they can live to the ripe old age of 3 years old! And, the female carries her younguns in a pouch for about four months...like a possum! Hilarious! Interesting little critter. They say that *most* of the time they only eat decomposing matter though if a lot of seedlings are present they will eat some of them and if there's little organic matter for them to graze on they'll gobble up the seedlings. Check the article out, it has some preventive measures and treatments you could try. They're actually good critters to help break down organic matter....until the feast on your tender seedlings, that is! D'Oh!
