Yes, if you go to your profile page and select Change your site preferences, the 4th item down is:
Ask a question email notification: Yes, email me, or No, don't email me.
Farther down the page is:
Automatically watch threads that you start. Yes/No
Automatically watch threads that you reply to. Yes/No
When making changes to your preferences, don't forget to go to the bottom of the page and select: Save your changes.
