When I buy suet, it's always the no melt peanut butter base type because the store bought fat type suet cakes seem to go rancid very quickly in the heat and humidity here. I quite often mix up a concoction of creamy peanut butter, oats, raisins, sunflower seeds and raw peanuts that I put it in the suet feeders. At times I also mix in blueberries and bits of chopped apples. The birds and squirrels seem to love it.
