Thanks to all of you who left thumbs up and messages. Here's a photo of what is probably the best known, most popular member of the genus Euphorbia, namely the poinsettia (Euphorbia pulcherrima). I thought it was appropriate for the holiday season. Cheers, everyone!
The shot was taken last December at the Meijer Gardens annual Christmas display. It shows a grouping of plants in the Tropical House part of the conservatory. Beyond the poinsettias and the white phalaenopsis orchids, I can't make any definite ID's of the other foliage plants. Some kind of fern, I think. Maybe philodendron and dracaena??? If you can fill in any of the blanks, feel free.
