Thank you all for comments, thumbs and acorns! Paw paws are often planted around here for fruit and maybe as an ornamental (though it doesn't have showy flowers or good fall color). With all of the paw paws around, we are beginning to see a few zebra swallowtails. This particular one I raised from a young caterpillar this summer.
