Hate to say it, but these pics really don't do it justice. There are 17 or 18 discrete gardens in the yard (depending on how you count) and each is so very different. She's imported plants and trees from around the country (and some from around the world, even). And that's not to mention the ten-wheelers full of boulders, soil, amendments, etc. It's just remarkable what she's created here in twelve or so years.

"Fireworks in slow motion" is how I've described her gardens. They're really special.
