Doesn't work so great for Sempervivum, but it's ideal for just about every other succulent I've encountered.
Thank you all for the kind words. I do try to tell a bit of a story with the pictures. They are my notebook. My memory is really hazy but my photos are dated.
What I liked best about this slice was the way it was like a fountain, maybe a warped sideways one but a sense of motion nonetheless. With a bit of mystery about what might lie beneath.
