Ok all you midwesters I need you to remember for me when I have a dahlia blooming that I have labeled as one thing vs what is growing. I ended up with extra cages. Fab and I can find one dahlia. Even better. So I did derail from my original plan to accommodate for the dill weed, liatris, a daisy I forgot about and coneflowers that are still super small. In doing so, I deviated from my grand road map. So this is what you need to remind me:

Pipsqueak is missing

She may be one marked: bride to be, kelvin floodlight, ginger willo or pinelands princess. Can we give a great shout out for being totally dumb in the garden when planting what your thought was so diligently?! Hurray!

Good gravy, it'd be nice if I followed my own directions.

It's hot and humid and wet from the rain out. I did the bare minimum of putting the support for dahlias in place. I walked by the garden - looks good. Peas are intact for all you w chucky issues. Marigold's are growing good as are all the zinnias and salvias. I have a bunch of nasturtiums I started inside I'll need to plant tomorrow. Love them - but hate them after a frost as I'm not a fan of rotting cabbage family. They stink BADLY.

Now with that lovely thought it's to be 80 and cooler tomorrow so I'll do the jungle weed and maybe the Wood mulch. Will see if I have enough getupandgo to get it done.

Thomas: read on blood type A - they don't say +/- but they are finding A types end up with more need. I've seen now a bit more in the press. I don't know if it's specific to co-morbidities or other health issues as well.

Well you can do a lot on a 1/4 acre! And I bet you chucky is plotting his revenge. Probably this evening w the strawberry moon! I can hear the voiceover in the movie trailers Rolling on the floor laughing sorry, I know he taunts you so but I find it funny the stories that can be created about the old rodent. Have a laugh while you kick back and enjoy your garden.

Enjoy the white iris also a noID. Either from Schreiners or Jungs over 10 years ago.

Every gardener knows that under the cloak of winter lies a miracle ... a seed waiting to sprout, a bulb opening to the light, a bud straining to unfurl. And the anticipation nurtures our dream."
