This article said to try growing different leaf lettuces with cukes and a patio tomato. Since lettuce is a COOL-season veggie and turns bitter then bolts in hot weather, how are you going to successfully grow it with hot season veggies like cukes and tomatoes??? Further, patio tomatoes are hardly worth growing. They're determinate and are going to mostly stop producing by the end of July. Grow a regular tomato with support by itself in a BIG pot and enjoy fresh picked tomatoes all by themselves.
