Thanks for the list, jmorth, I've saved the link and will try to wade through them, although I've read a good portion of them already. Some I understand the controversy, others mystify me.
I just finished 'The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry' by Gabrielle Zevin, a nice feel-good story about a cranky book seller in a small town and second chances. Each chapter is prefaced with a short book review that could make up yet another list of books to read.
