I'm watching some documentaries.
I just watched a wonderful documentary about Annie Patterson and Peter Blood and the creation of Rise Again, the sequel to Rise Up Singing. Lots of history, some stunning pictures, and some really good songs.
Annie and Peter were very good friends with Pete Seeger, and worked very closely with him in many ways, including on these books. He appears in the documentary.
I feel blessed to know Annie and Peter, to have been in their home, and I feel very honored to have one of my songs in Rise Again.
