By this time tomorrow the bed and root bound soil will be gone. The more I dug, the more roots got exposed. Many of them fresh and alive. Pretty shocking, and not worth trying to save the bed. I'm going to make the new bed a perennial veggie habitat, so will first add a 24" root barrier around the perimeter, and try to decide on the raised bed material since warped wood doesn't trip my beauty trigger. I'll have more cash in the bed and soil than I could possibly spend at Food Lion in a couple years time! LOL. But it's fun...until it's not.
