Nice pics for a banner (of things to look forward to)...
In spring of 2018 I had a close encounter with a young robin. I was filling a watering can at the outside spigot, as I raised up, Ka-Bam, right in the side of my head...and there, right at my feet was the culprit, a young Robin. Apparently one of it's first (unsuccessful) flights...fortunately I had my camera in back pocket and took this pic:
I don't know who was most surprised, me or the Robin.
