Probably late for the winter varieties. I usually plant those around Labor day and I am in z8 Georgia. We get a major frost around Thanksgiving which will kill the tops. We don't get ground freeze so the radishes will hold in the ground into the winter. But no growth after a killing frost. Early Scarlet Globe needs 30 days or so before frost. They grow much slower in the fall.
